An Artist to Another Article 1- Stressed Inside a Whale


They say only thing certain in life are death and taxes. But if I were asked to add another category to things that are certain in life, it would have to be stress. There's just no avoiding it. It can be so immobilizing left unchecked and it's a motivation killer if you ever tried working through it. Thanks to stress,  your exercise regimen is out the window and those pounds have caught up. That 5 o'clock shadow is now a beard.  That project you at one point had a handle on is now a monster on the loose.  Your time is now being used to find peace of mind and to regain your mental health.You are at wits end and your problems have swallowed you whole. But despite being in the belly of the whale, there is a way out. And it requires you get your ship back on course.

This hasn't happened overnight. Snowballs take time to roll down a mountain before they become big enough to become an unstoppable force. This is all the result of pity parties, avoiding your problems, inactivity, and avoiding your work. Staying busy is just about the best thing you can do for yourself when you're feeling swallowed whole like whale victim trapped in the belly. What stressed you to this point and what you no longer feel like doing will free you from this predicament you're in. Busy hands ease a heavy heart so remember the importance of doing what needs to be done. If things seem out of control, then its time you get back on track.
