An Artist to Another Article 1- Stressed Inside a Whale

They say only thing certain in life are death and taxes. But if I were asked to add another category to things that are certain in life, it would have to be stress. There's just no avoiding it. It can be so immobilizing left unchecked and it's a motivation killer if you ever tried working through it. Thanks to stress,  your exercise regimen is out the window and those pounds have caught up. That 5 o'clock shadow is now a beard.  That project you at one point had a handle on is now a monster on the loose.  Your time is now being used to find peace of mind and to regain your mental health. You are at wits end and your problems have swallowed you whole. But despite being in the belly of the whale, there is a way out. And it requires you get your ship back on course.

This hasn't happened overnight. Snowballs take time to roll down a mountain before they become big enough to become an unstoppable force. This is all the result of pity parties, avoiding your problems, inactivity, and avoiding your work. Staying busy is just about the best thing you can do for yourself when you're feeling swallowed whole like whale victim trapped in the belly. What stressed you to this point and what you no longer feel like doing will free you from this predicament you're in. Busy hands ease a heavy heart so remember the importance of doing what needs to be done. If things seem out of control, then its time you get back on track.

An Artist to Another Articles Are Coming Soon

I've been thinking of writing some blog articles about my struggles as an artist and tips on how I get motivated. This may be of use to anyone who might find themselves in a situation where they have artists block or too stressed to find the energy or peace of mind to draw a straight line. Your ability to think clearly and be focused is highly dependent on your situation in life and how you feel. I'm thinking of creating a list of tips and activities that can help you fight through these times. I found that the solution that works is different for me every time and that they don't always work. But eventually, I get back into the swing of things and time and patience hasn't let me down yet. I find myself in these dismal situations all the time which is why I've avoided  creating an article about this issue, I didn't want to come across as hypocritical when writing them. But if helps one person, it was worth it.

I'll have more on that soon, but here's a quick tip: fill yourself with some positive vibes! Negativity and stress is draining your energy and its breaking down your confidence, combat this with EXCITEMENT! Stop stressing so much  because your just putting a mental block on yourself. Where do you get excited you ask? You need to go out and enjoy your life, gain experiences to create from, escape from the preconceived negative notions of your head about the world and see it for what it is-EXCITING! Because I promise you, every time you step out that door you don't know what the hell is going to happen. So leave right now and find out how your day will turn out! And if its too late to go out, go to bed early in anticipation for the new day!Get EXCITED!

I call that the excited mind technique. Eagerness and excitement is an important aspect of working well and overall happiness in my opinion. But its hard to stay excited all the time just by leaving your house, so I'll have tips you can try to enhance this technique and how to introduce it in more ways.
